50plus Lifestyle Lunch and Learn

Our First Launch of 50plus Lifestyle Lunch & Learn

50plus Lifestyle Lunch & Learn is Launched!

Lunch, drawings for fabulous prizes and some cool lifestyle success secrets…

Our first 50plus Lifestyle Lunch & Learn was great fun! We enjoyed lunch, laughed and learned through two riveting discussions about living a lock & leave lifestyle and a huge slew of technology apps and gadgets to make life easier. Open discussion, prize drawings and having a meal together made this quite an enjoyable way to spend a Tuesday afternoon!

Thanks to all who attended. We will see you next month on September 14th. Feel free to invite friends.

Please keep an eye on our Upcoming Events, grab your lunch tickets, and add 50plus Lifestyle Lunch & Learn to your calendar every second Tuesday. Truthfully, you must eat lunch somewhere! If that is not reason enough for you to join us, here are five more reasons, along with a little more about us.

Every month, we look forward to meeting new people, hearing stories, sharing lifestyle secrets and visiting with folks boasting over a century of life experience.  While this is a new project, we already have a dream team of hosts, sponsors and speakers into 2022, so make plans to join us.  Also, if you have a speaker or particular area of expertise you’d like to lead a future discussion about, please contact us. We’re always eager for new ideas!

50plus Lifestyle Lunch & Learn is hosted by a group of professionals representing a range of services specializing in helping older adults. In no way is this luncheon event intended to be a sales pitch, and you wont hear any selling. Rather, the purpose is to provide a social setting for curiously-minded older adults to form a personal network. And hopefully, when needed, this may assist our guests to find trusted advisors they may seek.

Time warps with life events! Depending on personal circumstances, our lives seem to plod along slowly, then suddenly speed up. When everything changes quickly, having good connections, trusted resources and reliable information is invaluable. A personal network of trusted friends and advisors is vital to smart aging with ease. Although we joke around, laugh and enjoy light, fun topics together, we also hope to provide a vital resource network when needed. We hope you join us!

We're The Hollers Team, Blake and Patricia Hollers, a Realtor team at Keller Williams Realty, with almost 40 years combined experience at the top residential realty office in Collin County. Our Specialty is helping older adults with a 1-stop Connected Move Plan. Helping families as they make life's biggest decisions, we realized how much need there is for assistance for caregivers and older adults. Over 65% of adults will, at some point, be in a care giving role. In addition to being fierce advocates, we realized what most older clients truly need is a personal network of trusted advisors. At each step, making decisions about important options ideally involves a team of trusted experts. Family is first, always, yet often not enough. Especially for big decisions we don't make often, such as hiring a mover or an attorney to create a trust, or meeting with a financial planner to discuss a budget for downsizing or assisted living, or selling a family home. Sometimes these decisions arrive quickly. A personal network matters and makes a huge difference!
