At each step, making decisions about important options ideally involves a team of trusted experts. Family is first, always, yet often not enough. Especially for big decisions we don't make often, such as hiring a mover or an attorney to create a trust, or meeting with a financial planner to discuss a budget for downsizing or assisted living, or selling a family home.
